The VVT X-Model

Finally, an affordable D-Style amp in a compact design inspired by the late 90’s HRM. The circuit with pre and post OD tone stacks provide complete control over the amps overdrive tone. We broke the price barrier but we didn’t scrimp on components.

The VVT X-Models come with custom transformers made in the USA and the same tone and coupling caps in the originals. This versatile design has a very nice clean channel with 3 band EQ, a Master Volume as well as a footswitchable preamp boost.

Switching to the overdrive channel serves up the rich thick organic tone that made D-style amps famous. The gain and volume controls provide a wide range of OD tones at various volume levels. For those using outboard effects, we’ve added a passive FX loop capable of accepting an external buffered interface.
